Join the Public Law Committee
The Law Society is excited to introduce the Public Law Committee, established in response to strong member interest in 2024.
A special thank you to Ben Mason, Kendall Mutton, and Hannah von Forrell for their contributions in shaping the committee’s purpose and key focus areas.
About the Public Law Committee
The committee monitors issues affecting the integrity and independence of public law decision-making, provides input on policy and practice matters, advocates for the profession, and delivers education and training for public law practitioners.
Key Focus Areas for 2025:
- Establishing the Public Law Committee within the jurisdiction
- Developing guidance notes and training for public law practitioners
- Contributing to policy reform and practice issues
