Members Approve New Constitution and Elect Council at AGM

On 28 November 2025, members gathered for the Annual General Meeting (AGM), a pivotal event shaping the future of our organisation.

During the meeting, members voted on the adoption of a new constitution, aimed at modernising governance and strengthening our framework for the years ahead. The motion passed with 71% of members in attendance voting in favour, reflecting strong support for these important changes.

At the AGM, President Vik Sundar thanked members for their support in endorsing the updated constitution, a milestone achieved through more than two years of rigorous review, consultation, and collaboration.

With the new constitution approved and subject to the Attorney General endorsement, the Society and Council will focus on the next phase – developing the policies, procedures, and guidance materials needed to give effect to the new framework. The adoption of the constitution marks an important step in modernising the Society’s governance and ensuring our structure remains fit for purpose.
