A Ceremonial Sitting of the Magistrates Court of the Australian Capital Territory to mark the retirement of the Honourable Chief Magistrate Walker will be held on Monday 30 March 2026 at 9.00am in Supreme Court courtroom 3.
Practitioners wishing to attend the ceremony should RSVP to:
MCChambersManager@courts.act.gov.au, by no later than close of business on 20 March 2026.
The ceremony will be live-streamed to those who cannot attend via the links on the courts website. Monitors will also be set up in Supreme Court 4 to accommodate those who cannot be seated in Courtroom 3.
The ACT Supreme Court, ACT Magistrates Court and Childrens Court matters will commence at 10.30am on that day.
